Played Bys


PLAYED BY GUIDELINES

We don't have a set list of banned played bys and instead expect you will use your judgement when choosing an appropriate PB for your character. If there is a canon description of your character's appearance, you should adhere to it as closely as possible. The Malfoys are blonde and pointy, the Carrows are stocky and unattractive, etc. A few guidelines to keep in mind:
  • PBs should be age appropriate.
  • Models are allowed on a case by case basis, but generally discouraged unless you can show a range of facial expressions in their icons.
  • You should have a good selection of decent quality icons for your PB.
  • No outlandish appearances. If you think your character is most appropriately portrayed by someone with spiked blue hair and twenty facial piercings, we need to talk.
  • Actors from the movies are fine, but again, use good judgement.
  • If we're not sure if your chosen PB is an appropriate choice, we may ask to see the icons you plan on using or ask you to pick someone else when you place your hold.
  • If you need help, just ask.

Yeah, Dedalus is NOT HAPPY that all the pictures of him topless are him at age 15.

This one's more recent. But it's from a psychological thriller where he's imprisoned in a basement.
This one, too. You can see his blood, which contains genetic material, aka DNA, which is KIND OF like nudity! It contains nudity-related information!
